Our clients approached us having bought a dilapidated bungalow in Gayton, Wirral with the idea to turn it in to a family home.
We worked closely with them to ascertain their requirements and aspirations for their ideal place to live. early discussion focused around 3d studies of the overall form which gave the client and the Local Authority planners a more visual understanding of the proposals. The final proposals produced a scheme that added significant volume to the existing house.
The proposal received some objections during the planning process but due to our close working relationship with the local planners combined with our creative ability to respond to comments and objections with carefully considered alterations, meant the application made it through on its first attempt.
Bromilow Architects managed the tendering process and invited prices from four builders on behalf of the client.
The most economical tender was chosen and work started on site in Jan 2010.
The property returned to the market in 2016 and was valued well over and above the amount invested.
