New House start on site

We recently secured a successful planning approval for a new house in West Kirby for a Client who wanted to build a contemporary dwelling on a small, unusually shaped, previously developed piece of land adjoining their existing property.
Work started on site this week to demolish the existing structures on site, which included a very tall garage store and old landscaping.,
It is quite an unusual site, due to the shape, location, access and proximity to adjoining existing structures. Hence, the design process was lengthy, yet it was an interesting process of problem solving, negotiations with the Planning Authority and consultations with ecological specialists to get to the final scheme design.
The design creates a deceptively large house squeezed in to the site with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and large open plan living and dining space to the ground floor. The is a separate lounge to the front of the house but the studt to the upper floor with its balcony overlooking the park is the best space in the house.
Now that things have started on site, it will be an exciting few months watching the scheme come to life!
